Fairy Future

Set in the not too distant future - the fairies have decided that enough is enough. The humans have destroyed their world for long enough, they waged war and won. Now, humans are a rare species who're fighting to stay alive. The fairies hunt them, use them as twisted toys and generally wreak revenge for the centuries of destruction they have caused. I saw this as based from the human perspective, a lone male who happens across a small group when he ventures into what was once a city. The group and the male are all trying to live in a respectful manner and eke out a quiet existence. The local fairy tribe/group/rulers know of their presence and are allowing them to live, for now. However, there's more brewing under the surface. Now the humans are gone, there's in-fighting, nothing to hold the fairies as a whole together.
